Artist Biography:
Alex Miklowski was born in Warsaw, Poland and currently resides in Jamaica Plain. She studied analogue filmmaking and photography at Emerson College. She is currently a multimedia artist, musician, filmmaker and writer who’s main pursuit in life is freedom. Her personal artist website is www.alexmiklowski.com
Artist Statement:
Operating most efficiently when dealing with immediacy and minimal data, Alex prefers to leave others to fill in the blanks. This excitement over contour provides some stillness for the coloring sessions that follow, which have become a meditative practice for her.
