UVA’s Overlook Gallery is in the Overlook at St. Gabriel’s residential village, Maker Hall (former church) 175 Washington St., Brighton, MA. The gallery is on the lower level of Maker Hall. There is an elevator and an accessible ramp in the rear. The building and site are accessible.
Bike Parking – There are several guest locking stations in and around Maker Hall. There is also a Blue Bike Station on site.
Auto Parking – There is some auto parking in the main circle and on Washington Street. There are also guest spaces at off of Fidelis Way. Take Fidelis Way, the first public street after the Overlook (if Overlook is on your left). Then take the first left and then gentle curve to the right. Guest spaces are marked on both sides. After parking, walk to the end of the street, with Nevins Hill Residences at the end. Before you reach Nevins Hill, look left and you’ll see the Overlook’s Maker Hall, which is a former church. The gallery is on the lower level of Maker Hall. There is an elevator and an accessible ramp in the rear.
Public Transportation – MBTA bus 65 runs on Washington St. between Kenmore Station and Brookline Village. The Overlook is also within walking distance to the Green Line’s “B” Line.
