Using collage as a point of departure, we’re looking for works
that respond to some of the gestures and characteristics related to the technique and form:
- layers, overlaps, superimposition
- resonances between types, pieces, and objects
- degrees of opacity, clarity, and transparency
- depth, projection, height, relief
- (slow) gathering, collecting, laying out
We’re interested in:
- medium and large two-dimensional and three-dimensional works
- pieces that take space into account — projects to be spread, scattered, and dispersed
- video and sound art that incorporates collage, and we’ll do our best to accommodate, but we ask that artists provide all tech and set-up
