Carolyn (Caro) Clark: I started practicing yoga in 1996 to ‘slow down’, but yoga and self-care often took a back seat to my passion for International Nonprofit work. From The Dominican Republic and The United States to Kenya and Romania, I spent years working in orphanages and building a NYC-based nonprofit to help eradicate human trafficking.
In 2004, I started an intensive yoga practice for emotional and psychological well-being to create a larger, stronger foundation for compassion, empathy, and mindfulness to preside in my life. I now use this path to guide me through my practice, my teaching, and through motherhood to two incredible young children.
I completed my first training with meditation master Alan Finger (YogaWorks, NYC) in 2006. I started teaching in 2007, and from 2007 to 2013 attended the 500-hour Yoga Therapeutics Training and Integrative Yoga Therapy Track with Bo Forbes and The New England School of Yoga Therapeutics. I am a member of The Yoga Alliance and The International Association of Yoga Therapists and specialize in slow and mindful Vinyasa Flow, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Therapy.
